Let's face it, computers aren't the most interesting of things to most people. And they aren't always as Green and Eco friendly as some of us would like them to be.

We at Urban Hippy believe in as sustainable an existence as possible. This is why we like the internet so much. All that knowledge available to read using no paper, no travelling costs and no fees means a totally free (normally) and eco friendly experience.

But we wanted to do more so we are setting up the Urban Hippy Co-operative Allotment Project.

Basically it's a load of people working together on an allotment and getting a share of the produce. We currently have one plot in leeds and are looking at expanding into neighbouring empty areas.
